Wholesale Terms & Conditions
As you have now registered to become a wholesale, trade, stockist and/or partner, you agree, understand and adhere to the following terms, conditions and policies of wholesale supply stated from Black Salt Co.
- Wholesale minimum order quantity - is $500, excluding delivery costs for first order only.
- Delivery - Your order will be shipped within 7 days following the cleared payment of your invoice. Shipping lead times from Black Salt Co is approximately only, delivery information will be communicated via the courier/transit provider. Address changes need to be notified to our team immediately, any re-delivery or changes once dispatched will incur an additional cost.
- Payment terms – Full payment is required prior to the dispatch of goods.If payment is not received within 7 days, the order will be automatically cancelled. We will notify you prior to cancellation.
- Sold as received – Products are to be sold as received. Modification of our products, packaging, branding or otherwise is not permitted. Please do not change our product names or RRP as this will affect consistent branding. Black Salt Co has the right to change pricing, packaging and product information at any time.
- Pre-Order & Made-To-Order Terms - Orders require upfront payment due to the allocation of stock to you, these are considered final orders and cannot be cancelled once paid. Shipping timelines are ETA only, please be aware arrival dates are an approximate only and delivery times can vary. Black Salt Co has the right to cancel order at any time due to production and supply.
- Online Marketing - We ask that you are not to use our images to represent another brand or a similar product that is not our own. Do not share products that you have not yet purchased, unless approved. Please tag our social channels for our products. Our products must not be sold through external marketplace channels (eg, My Deal, Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree, Etsy, Catch, Ebay, Amazon)
- Cancellations - We do not offer cancellations on pre-orders, made-to-order, and custom items. Once the order is paid, it is final. If we approve the cancellation of your order, excluding pre-orders, made-to-order, and custom goods, we will issue a store credit minus a 20% cancellation fee to cover our administrative costs. Orders that have already been dispatched from our warehouse cannot be canceled or amended. We do not allow cancellations due to transport delays. If you experience delays, please email us for assistance. Please note that refunds or credits are not guaranteed.
- Faulty Products - We will replace or credit products if they are supplied faulty. We request photos within 24 hours, and may request faulty stock to be sent back at our cost. We will arrange a replacement or offer a credit for your next order once the item is returned to Black Salt Co. Black Salt Co will not arrange a return unless the item is in the original packaging. No Credit will be offered on freight. Delivery address must be as per original order, we will not replace an item if the product has been moved to a new address as we cannot confirm this is a product fault or delivery damage.
- Damage in Transit - If your item arrives damaged due to transit, please email us with photos within 24 hours of receiving your order and we will arrange a replacement or credit for your next order. Any damage that occurs during transit is the responsibility of the courier/freight company. We recommend items be checked on delivery especially if outer packaging looks damaged. Liability for any damages during transit will be with the Courier/ Freight company not with Black Salt Co. We will work with you to resolve the issue, however Black Salt Co will not replace or refund any items damaged during transit.
- Damage after delivery - We cannot replace or credit items that have not been supplied faulty if they are damaged by the customer, third parties or environmental circumstances after safe delivery. If you have not contacted us in the 24 hour period with photos of damages or faults, we are not liable for any replacements, refunds or exchanges.
- Returns - We do not offer refunds for change of mind. If you would like to exchange your item or receive store credit, you must notify us within 14 days of receiving your order, stating your reason. This excludes sale items, made-to-order, and custom goods. Exchanges must be unused and in good resalable condition. Shipping fees for exchanges/returns will be at your cost, and items must be in saleable condition and original or secure packaging. The delivery address must match the original order; changes to your address may incur an additional fee. Store credit will be issued after reviewing the returned goods, minus the original shipping fee and a 20% restocking fee to cover administrative costs and expenses in handling and restocking.
- Sale Items - There is no additional discount for Wholesale or Trade clients on sale items. Sale items are a final sale ,we do not offer refunds or exchanges or credits.
- Product Characteristics - Our products are handmade, natural and unique. We believe in perfect imperfections. Some items may occur natural discolouring, and sizing/measurements can slightly vary. We do not believe this alters or faults the product in any way. Online and website images may be slightly different to the actual colouring and characteristics, we try to be as accurate as possible. This is not considered a fault or misleading. If you are unsatisfied with the product, please contact us and we can work on a solution.
- Shipping Quotes - Our quotes are valid for 7 days from the issued date. If you wish to purchase after this period, we are required to get a new quote and it may change pricing depending on the courier service. We are unable to hold / reserve stock for longer than our time period.
- Pre-Order Dispatch - Your items will be dispatched from our warehouse within the timeframe noted by our team, once we have vessel confirmation. We are not responsible for any transit delays or shipping and courier complications that may occur. If the goods are ready for dispatch and the buyer is not prepared to receive them, Black Salt Co will provide complimentary storage for 14 days from notification. After this period, a holding fee of $100 per week will apply. All storage fees must be paid before the goods can be dispatched or collected from our warehouse.
- Pricing & Promotional Periods -All prices listed on our website are subject to change. If you placed an order within 24 hours of a price reduction or the start of a promotional period, and you reach out to us within the same timeframe, we will honor the reduced or promotional price and credit the difference to your account. However, we are unable to make price adjustments for orders placed outside this 24-hour window. Additionally, prices of dispatched products cannot be altered.
- Warranty - We do not provide warranties of any kind on any of our products. Due to its handmade and natural materials, we advise products will naturally change over time. Please use products as specified to ensure longevity and to preserve its quality and strength. We do not offer replacements, refunds or exchanges once you receive your product.
